If you know me, then you know that I’m a nature guy. I love being surrounded by natural beauty and wildlife. So it’s no surprise that the national parks in the United States are some of my favorite travel destinations in the world to travel to You can’t beat the vast openness of the Grand Canyon or the rock formations at Bryce Canyon and Antelope Canyon. Travel Photography in the United States just hits differently. There’s is just no other place on Earth where you can see this particular form of nature and there are so many parks to choose from.
Visiting the National Parks in the West of the US in September/early October is the best time, as the weather is great and the crowds are low. It’s also the time when many animals can be easily seen before they go into hibernation, so if you are into wildlife, you are in for a treat. The photos below were taken on two different trips spanning a total of 4 weeks and include the following national parks: Grand Canyon, Antelope Canyon, Bryce Canyon, Zion National Park, Death Valley, Capitol Reef National Park, Arches National Park, Yellowstone, Grand Teton National Park, Glacier National Park, Sequoia National Park, Yosemite, Kings Canyon, and Big Sur down California’s Pacific Coast highway.
So, if you haven’t decided where to travel to next, visit the National Parks in the US and get ready to be amazed by the variety of landscapes, the abundance of wildlife and some pretty iconic views that you will never forget!
