About
It’s hard to believe that just seven short years ago I didn’t know how to turn on a camera. I wish I could lie to you and say that I have always loved to take pictures since I was 5 years old and went to school for photography and decided that I would name my first born child Camera. But it’s just not that romantic of a story. I really just picked it up because I was curious one day and wanted to take snapshots of my vacations. It started as a hobby and eventually turned into my profession. My passion for travel photography has taken me to more than 30 countries, which has helped me to create a substantial collection of images of people and places from around the world. My work has appeared in several publications such as Sport Diver Magazine and Shutterbug Magazine and has been used as marketing material for companies like Hotwire, The Active Travel Show in the UK, easyCruise, and Windjammer Barefoot Cruises. My goal in life is to cover as much of the globe as possible and explore what it has to offer.
Of course I’m not always traveling, though it would be nice. When I’m not traveling, I dedicate my time to shooting weddings and doing photoshoots. I was born and raised in the U.S. and lived most of life in Miami but now I live in the Netherlands. For information on image licensing, pricing, bookings for weddings, etc., please contact me:

Hi, great images .. If you don’t mind to share, what equipment do you use?
Hey I’m currently in art school for photography and aspire to be a travel photographer. Your work is really wonderful and I was wondering how you are able to travel all over and what was your favorite place you have traveled to?
Hi Dario,
I just saw the photos of Russia and I really love them! I guess the rest of your travel photos are also so spectacular. Can I give you an idea for a new place to visit? I didn’t see photos of Bulgaria, a country with great nature.
BR,
Eli
Got an equadorean background?
Dario – This is Mig’s friend Evelyn. Was just we-transferring something and hit the (awesome) background by accident and your site came up. What are the chances?? See you next Saturday, I assume
p.s. your photos are incredible…!
Great Photos Dario
Well for those who didn’t meet him. I had the opportunity to work with Dario onboard windjammer cruise line, traveling around the Caribbean Island, I remember him with a big smile every day, people loved him for what he is “a great friend and happy person” He really enjoyed what he was doing, photography, salsa lessons etc. I was waiting to the end of each cruise to see the amazing photos that he prepare for the passengers, making their vacations an unforgettable experience. that inspire me to know more about photography and it is a down great feeling.

I never leave replies but when I read you’re living in the Netherlands right now, I had to give a shout out… I live in Eindhoven, so if you ever want a tour, just let me know!
Groetjes!
Great Job man, wish everybody could travel that much and see those places!.
cheers
Cool story Dario! I’m almost exactly the same! Only, I picked up a camera 2 years ago, and stupidly made it my profession really quickly… Which i wouldn’t recommend… But I pretty much pulled it off! A long way for me to go, but really exciting to see your work and see how amazingly well you’ve in a short space of time!
Hey Dario, you have an amazing gift! and your travel photography work is spectacular.
I enjoyed viewing your work, they make me want to pick my bag and go on an adventure.
Well done and all the best with your future endeavours.
